Selma’s dad suffered a catastrophic work injury resulting in a below the knee amputation of his left leg. Selma graduated from Northview High School in Grand Rapids with a 3.95 GPA. She is attending Aquinas College in Grand Rapids, studying psychology. Her mentor is Dave DeGraw.

I wanted to let you and everyone that I successfully completed my Master of Social Work program at the end of June 2022 and also received my limited license to practice. I also recently accepted a supervisory role in my company where I can use my license and help others while doing it! From the bottom of my heart I want to say THANK YOU to KCOMI for helping me through my education process as I truly could not have done it without KCOMI. I am so happy my sister Belma can also see all the positives KCOMI has to offer and I most certainly would like to stay in touch and support.
